News from JMGF’s
Young Adult Service Corps (YASC)!
Since 2006, JMGF's Young Adult Service Corps (YASC) has engaged hundreds of young adults into service to their schools and local communities across Montana! We are pleased to report that the Governor's Commission on Community Service recently refunded JMGF and we were expanded to 110 positions! JMGF is accepting position requests from schools and organizations as well as applications from students who want to serve in the 2010-2011 year, which starts Sept 1! Contact us today for more info, we look forward to hearing from you!
On March 13, 2010 YASC held the first annual Member
Development & Leadership
training for Members! Over 25 folks attended, including members, site
supervisors and a few parents! With the help of Wayne Mortimer,
we had an engaging, activity filled day over at Carroll College. We learned
about ourselves each other, leadership and citizenship! Check out the photo
gallery to see a couple shots and video clips from the day!
